'12 Rounds' starring John Cena turned out better than I would have thought. He's one of those WWE wrestler guys or something. I generally really hate when these type guys do the action movies. You know the ones I'm talking about...
But John Cena is actually not a bad actor. The movie all in all was pretty good and definitely held my attention the entire time. It was literally thrilling. Perhaps not good for the heart, but fun.
The story was good and well put together.It's about a cop who is involved in a girl's murder. Her bad guy beau then resurfaces, kidnaps the cop's girl, and makes him go through 12 'rounds' in the hopes of saving her life. It was pointed out to me, however, that they kind of cheated on round 10. Not really a 'round'? So maybe they were running out of ideas by then??? Whatever.
A good watch as it turns out!!! I really wouldn't have thought!
