Battle In Seattle ***

I hadn't heard much of this movie and honestly it wasn't that great but I feel that it had an important message that should be relayed...
The main reason that I watched it is because I usually love Charlize Theron. And once again she did a great job here, although her role was not that significant to the plot. There were many characters portrayed because of the large scope of the story.
First off, since I rarely even watch the news, I shamefully really had no idea of what had gone on in Seattle in 1999 when the WTO convened there. So this movie tells you all about it from both sides of the battle... the police and all of the activists.
Bottom line, the message.... If you are one of the people who uses the term 'tree hugger' in a derogatory way, you should be ashamed. We should all be standing up for every living creature on our planet. We should be taking care of each other, not exploiting!
If you love God, then you MUST love our planet and everything He put on it!!!

I am a tree hugger and proud of it!!!
